Storm Quiet Thunder

-Sandy Springs.  At 9:04, Monday,  the Sandy Springs Storm took on the Thunder in the late game. The Storm sent 30 batters to the plate, scoring 12 of them. The Thunder only had 15 batters with just two scoring. No errors were committed by the Storm, while the Thunder had five. It was an off night for DHYS and the Storm took advantage. The Thunder look forward to representing District 4 in the Dizzy Dean State Tournament.

Interesting stats and facts:
-Jack Purdy hit his fourth HR of the summer.
-Mercer Buechner was involved in two double plays at 3rd (5-3 and a rare    5-3-5).
-10 of 15 Thunder batters swung at the first pitch.
-Greg Huey filled in for Jack Hammond in the analog scorekeeping dept.
-The Cooks kept Thunder parents cool and refreshed.

So long everybody.
